This is a union position.
Based in Saginaw, St. Mary’s of Michigan is a regional health system offering high quality care in cardiovascular, neurosciences, orthopedics, emergency and trauma, cancer, bariatrics, imaging diagnostics, and primary care. A part of Ascension since 1999, we offer 268 beds and over 20 specialty centers to provide access and care for people from over 70 counties.
The Inventory Control Clerk monitors, orders, stocks, and transports supplies and/or equipment for the organization.
Monitors, orders, stocks, and transports supplies and/or equipment.
Ensures timely delivery of stock/inventory as needed.
Investigates and troubleshoots inventory issues/problems.
Maintains accurate tracking records for inventory.

HS or Equivalent
High school diploma or GED required at date of hire Additional training beyond high school (ie, CSCP, LEAN, Six Sigma certification, bachelor's degree) preferred and Previous experience working with any of the following: shipping, receiving, picking, logistics, distribution, purchasing, warehousing, inventory management, contracting, vendor management required. One year experience preferred.
