This Physician Office- Supervisor opportunity is in our Renal Transplant clinic. You will be working with Clinical and non clinical staff in both the Sacred Heart Medical Group and the our inpatient facility to ensure the complete care of our patients. This is a growing transplant program and as such the Supervisor role will need to have a diverse skill set that would include interacting with patients at checki, answering calls and questions from patients, conducting team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
Supervises the orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
Assists with performance evaluations.
Participates in multidisciplinary meetings or committees addressing issues and implementation of new services.
Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols.
Reads and reviews new regualtions, creates new protocols in order to meet new regulations.
Reviews outcome and quality data and participates in meetings to discuss this data and improvements that can be made.
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelors Degree Preferred.
1 year of Medical Office experience required.
1 year of Experience in a Surgical Subspecialty/dialysis practice preferred.
1 year of billing and charge entry experience preferred.
3 years of Medical Office experience preferred.
