When a market is of a particular size in terms of number of providers, provider locations, and geographical footprint, a Provider Network Specialist will be deployed to assist the Network Administrator in managing the local market. The Provider Network Specialist’s activities will include, but are not limited to, completing data requests on provider data and analyzing the reports. Special requests will require strong excel skills to conduct vlook up, formatting, and creating tables. This role will be instrumental in coordinating compliance and clinical integration communications and assist with quality reporting. Excellent communicaiton skills required for provider newsletters, campaign and other key practice and physician onboarding.
Performing activities to positively affect established Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
Carrying out physician engagement, communication and messaging activities as assigned by the Provider Network Administrator
Runs reports from Salesforce and portal systems as requested. Analytical skills to audit, format, pivot tables as requested.
Coordination of provider communication campaigns around compliance, clinical integration, quality metrics and collaboration
Fosters and manages relationships with participating and potential providers/clinical staff/office staff; carries out local strategy and KPI goals for Network team.
Identifies and pursues providers to develop a stronger presence within strategic specialties or geographic locations with coordinated efforts of our adequacy and contracting strategies.
Identifies and coordinates resolution of provider issues by researching, developing statement of work, and ROI for new tools and vendors.
Collaborates with contracting and the ministry on new market builds within Salesforce. Assists contracting with open contracts as requested.
Assists the Provider Network Administrator in planning and implementing regular provider and practice administrator meetings
Coordinates the distribution and messaging of marketing and educational materials
Performs administrative duties for all provider committee activities
Other duties as assigned

Ability to succeed in a dynamic and ambiguous working environment
Ability to work well with others in a professional, collaborative and predictable manner.
Consistent attendance as scheduled.
Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare or related field required.
Master’s degree in Healthcare or Business Administration preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of provider relations, network management, medical sales or related healthcare experience required.
