Job Description

Job Summary:

ACM’s Marketing and Communications Specialist is focused on developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans and programs for ACM and its divisions in order to forward ACM’s strategic goals, specifically those focused on obtaining new clients, providers and members, and growing and retaining existing clients, providers and members.

The Marketing and Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting the implementation of the core strategies within ACM. In support of the ACM Divisions, this role uses detailed research and analysis of existing product performance, competitor products, rates, distribution methods, etc. to effectively market the Company’s suite of products and services. In addition, this role will support RFPs that the organization elects to complete. They are also responsible for developing elements of communications, web site content and structure, marketing events, agent incentive promotion and recognition programs, and field force training and education.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates, writes and distributes communications.

  • Coordinates compilation of materials for events.

  • Monitors costs for budget alignment.

  • Assists with and/or plans leadership meetings.

  • Develops and markets content that forwards the Ascension Care Management (ACM) brand, promotes ACM services and positions ACM as a thought leader in the population health industry

  • Works with the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications and the Marketing & Communications Manager to develop an annual content plan that includes a company-wide content calendar. Responsible for sourcing and managing any external and internal resources needed to develop content, including managing agency resources to ensure content is created on message, on time and on budget.

  • Oversees the development of new content and responsible for leveraging digital and social channels to promote consumption and drive desired business outcomes and annual business goals, including expanded media interest, inbound leads from prospects, and increased brand recognition.

  • Collaborates with ACM leaders, participating providers, clients, members and other key stakeholders, external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of our audience.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, PR, writing, communications or other related degree required.

Work Experience:

  • Two years experience producing content as well as channel specific knowledge (blog, SlideShare, Facebook, Twitter, etc) required.

  • One year experience building audiences either online or offline required.

  • Two years experience working with third-party tools to manage content and measure results required.
