Shift: 5 days every 2 weeks with the opportunity to pick up more. Includes every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Under the supervision and/or direction of the Director, Manager, or Charge Nurse, performs various patient care activities and related services required to maintain a therapeutic milieu. Provides care to adult and geriatric patients requiring acute, inpatient stabilization.
Conducts patient assessments and assisting patients with establishing treatment goals.
Maintains thorough and confidential records of observations.
Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
Provides patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
Perform safety rounds every 15 minutes
Complete and document patient vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, heart rate, respirations)
Assist patients with activities of daily living
Provide a safe, clean, therapeutic milieu
Foster an environment of care and compassion to promote healing
Utilize crisis intervention, including verbal de-escalation
Function as an integral part of the treatment team
Facilitate educational groups and therapeutic activities
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention credentialed from the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Bachelor's Level Degree, Bachelor degree in behavioral health field required
One year of experience in behavioral healthcare preferred
Inpatient experience preferred
